Hi,
My name is Mijal, and I'm a Product Manager, a former Product Designer. I excel at dissembling complex problems into easy digestible solutions, with high attention to details and customers needs. I'm also a Textile Designer and an Illustrator.
I graduated from Shenkar College of Engineering & Design in Visual Communications. Later on, I graduated with a Master Diploma in Textile and Surfaces from Istituto Marangoni, Milan, where I lived for two amazing years. I participated and won the Rado Star Prize for young designers with an innovative concept for a smart textile. In Venice, I got into an internship at Rubelli, one of the most ancient and known textile companies in Italy. During that period, I learned the foundations of weaving with all the rythm and calculation of a very complex grid. After the internship, I participated in Salone del Mobile with my own collection of storytelling textiles. I enjoy thinking of the micro and macro of components and structures, trends and interactions and how it all integrates with culture and habits. I also like reading, researching, dashboards, growing plants, singing, and playing the uke. I believe in multidisciplinary.
